The short version

If you’re browsing this site as a member of the public, we don’t set any cookies on your device at all. No analytics, no advertising, no social media, no tracking of any kind. There’s nothing to consent to, so we don’t show a cookie banner.

The one cookie that exists

The site has a single cookie, and it’s only ever set when the site operator logs into the internal moderation panel at /admin. It’s strictly necessary (it keeps that login session active), and it isn’t set for ordinary visitors browsing the public site, isn’t readable by any third party, and doesn’t track anything about you.

How we measure traffic without cookies

We run a small, self-hosted page-view counter instead of a third-party analytics service. It records which page was visited and when, with no cookies, no client-side storage, and no IP address logging, so it can’t be used to identify you or follow you between pages or visits. If this ever changes

If we add analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential cookie in the future, we’ll update this page and add a proper consent mechanism before doing so, not after.
